VEGETABLE WHITE BEAN MASALA

Vegetable White Bean Masala is delicious, spicy dish prepared using vegetables, white bean and spices.This dish can be served with plain rice or any rice/bread/dosa recipes. try this out and I am sure you are going to love this.

Ingredients
Garam Masala Powder - 1 tbsp
Kitchen king masala - 1 tsp
Lemon juice - 2 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tbsp
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp
Dry Red chilis - 2
Maggie Cube/ Bouillon - 1
Onion chopped - 1/2
Big potatoes cut into cube - 1
Green chilis - 3
Ginger grated - 1 inch
Garlic cloves chopped - 3
Green Beans chopped - 5
Carrot chopped - 1
Capsicum chopped - 1/2
Frozen Green peas - 1/4 cup
Frozen Sweet corn - 1/4 cup
Habanero chopped - 1 (optional)
White Bean(Canned/Soaked and boiled) - 2 cups
Salt to taste
Coriander leaves for garnish

Preparation
  • Heat oil in pan. add cumin seeds and dry red chili and saute for minute.
  • Now add the potatoes and saute for another 1 minute. then add onion, garlic, green chili, habanero, ginger and saute till translucent.
  • Add the vegetable one by one - capsicum, carrot, beans, sweet corn, green peas and saute for 1 to 2 minutes.
  • Now add bouillon, garam masala, coriander powder, kitchen king masala, lemon juice, salt to taste and mix well.
  • Add enough water for desired consistency, add cooked white beans, check for the salt and bring this to nice boil.
  • Vegetable white bean masala is now ready. garnish it with coriander leaves. serve hot and enjoy.
Tip:
  • Use vegetables of your choice.
  • I have soaked and boiled the white beans and used for this gravy. This method is always tastier than canned white beans
