In South India dosas are always served with spicy coconut chutney or red chutney.Its perfect accompaniment with dosa. Its very easy to make and tastes good with almost every dosa/idlis.I have already shared recipe on green and red chutney. this is just variation to it.

Ingredients
Coconut Grated - 1/2 cup
Coriander leaves chopped - 1/3 cup
Big Jalapeno - 1
Ginger - 1/2 inch
Water - 1/4 to 1/3 cup
Salt to taste
For Tempering(optional)
Oil - 1 1/2 tsp
Urad dal - 1 tsp
Curry leaves - 4
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Hing - Pinch

Preparation
- Grind all the ingredients given above adding water to form thick smooth paste.
- Jalapeno Chutney/Dip is ready. Consume when fresh. You can keep it in refrigerator and serve for day or two. Serve with dosas/idlis. You can also temper this if required.
