CANTON NOODLES

Canton noodles is famous Chinese noodles that looks awesome and tastes delicious. This noodles are also called flour sticks . When we went to Asian store I just found this noodles and was amazed and after cooking this noodles I had no words left. Simply in Love with taste and texture of this noodles. I am writing a very simple recipe I prepared using this noodles and vegetables. Whenever you get chance do try out this  noodles.
Noodles
Preparation time : 20 minutes
Serves : 3

Ingredients
Canton Noodles - 200g
Onion chopped - 1
Green chilis chopped - 5
Garlic cloves chopped - 5
Capsicum chopped - 1/2
Celery chopped - 1 stick
Cabbage chopped - 1/2 cup
Dry Red chilis - 2
Frozen Green peas - 1/4 cup
Chings Hakka noodles masala - 1 1/2 tsp
Tomato Ketchup - 1 tbsp
Red Chili Powder - 1 1/2 tsp
Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
Soya sauce - 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Vegetable Oil - 1 1/2 tbsp

Preparation
  • Boil the noodles according to package instructions given and drain them and keep it aside.
  • Heat Oil in pan. add onion, garlic, green chili and saute till translucent,
  • Add celery, cabbage, capsicum , green peas and saute for another minute.
  • Now add Chings masala, ketchup, chili powder, Worcestershire sauce, soya sauce, salt to taste and mix everything well  and saute for a minute.
  • Add cooked canton noodles and toss till everything is well combined.
  • Canton Noodles are now ready. Serve hot and enjoy.
Tip:
  • You can substitute  Chings masala with 5 spice powder or  Maggi magic masala 
  • Use vegetables of your choice.
