HOMEMADE BREAD LOAF

Homemade Bread Loaf is always tastier than store bought and is nutritious too as you know what all ingredients goes into it.Try this simple recipe of bread loaf and you will love it.Serve it with  Italian Pasta with alfredo sauce
Total Preparation time : 3 hours
Serves : 1 bread loaf

Ingredients
All purpose Flour/Maida - 3 cups
Active Dry Yeast - 1 packet( 2 1/4 tsp)
Milk - 1 1/4 cup
Butter Unsalted - 3 tbsp
Olive Oil - 1 tbsp
Honey - 2 tbsp
Salt - 2 tsp
Olive oil and all purpose flour - to grease and sprinkle on loaf pan.

Preparation
  • In small pan add butter, olive oil, milk, honey stir at medium-high heat and cook only till butter is melted.Allow it to cool to about 115 degree F.
  • Sprinkle yeast over this mixture and keep it aside for 10 minutes.
  • In a large bowl add all purpose flour, salt, mix well and keep ready. After 10 minutes pour the yeast milk mixture to the flour bowl and mix till everything is combined.
  • Dust the working surface transfer this flour mixture and knead it atleast for about 10 minutes to form soft elastic dough. transfer this to bowl , coat with olive oil. cover with warm towel and allow it to rest in warm place for about 1 hour till the dough is doubled in size.
  • Roll the bread to a log, place it in greased(olive oil +all purpose flour) loaf pan and allow it to rise for another 30 to 40 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven at 375 degree F. bake for 40 to 50 minutes.that is till you get hollow sound when tapping the bread.allow it to cool down completely before slicing
  • Homemade bread loaf is now ready. Serve with ghee/butter/ or Italian Pasta and enjoy
  

  

  

 

Tip:
  • For warm environment you can preheat the oven for the minimum setting , turn it off and then place the dough.
