Cabbage Idli also called cabbage muddo is popular konkani recipe served as side dish for lunch/dinner. This is very tasty, very simple to prepare. Try to use coconut oil to grease the idli plates and drizlle oil on top of idlis while serving.Do try thos out at home and I am sure everybody will love it.

Ingredients
Cabbage chopped finely - 1 cup
Medium onion chopped - 1
Dry red chilis - 7 to 8
Salt to taste
Grated coconut - 1/2 cup
Idli rava - 1/2 cup
Coconut oil - to drizzle and grease the plates.

Preparation
- Wash the idli rava and drain the water completely from it.
- Grind the grated coconut, dry red chili to form thick paste.add very little water
- Add this ground paste , cabbage, onion along with idli rava and mix well. add salt to taste. let the batter be thick.
- Add enough water in pressure cooker and switch on the flame.. I use pressure cooker without whistle.
- Grease the idli moulds with oil.Pour idli batter to each mould.
- Steam it for 15 to 20 minutes in medium flame.Once its done using spoon remove idli from the plates.
- Cabbage idli is now ready. drizzle coconut oil, serve hot and enjoy
