SRIRACHA HUMMUS DIP

Sriracha Hummus Dip is a twist to traditional chickpea dip that has right amount of spiciness and flavor.It takes only few minutes to prepare and within seconds its over because its best of all and you will want to eat more and more. Serve this spicy hummus with your favorite vegetables/Pita chips. Check traditional hummus dip recipe.

Preparation time : 10 minutes
Serves : 3 to 4

Ingredients
Chickpeas/Garbanzo - 1 cup
Sriracha Chilli Sauce - 1/4 cup
Garlic cloves - 6
Olive oil - 1 tbsp
Lemon juice -  1 1/2 tbsp
Soya Sauce -  2 tsp
Salt to taste
Dried Basil Leaves - to garnish
Red pepper flakes - to garnish
Water - 1/4 cup

Preparation
  • I have soaked the chickpeas overnight and then pressure cooked for two whistles. If you are using the canned chickpeas ignore this step.
  • Grind garbanzo, sriracha chilli sauce, garlic cloves, olive oil, lemon juice, soya sauce, salt to taste and water to form smooth thick paste. I have used the same water in which the garbanzo was pressure cooked.
  • Transfer it to bowl. Garnish it with basil leaves and red pepper flakes.
  • Sriracha Hummus dip is now ready. Serve it with vegetable of your choice/crostinis/pita chips.
