Orzo is form of pasta shaped like long grain rice. It can be served alone,or as a part of salad, pilaf, or even with soup. I have prepared a very simple, tasty dish using this orzo and it just tastes awesome.We found this pasta at walmart and from the time we tried it we all love it at home.
I use Orzo from Barilla. You get this in stores like Walmart, Payless, Fresh thyme.Do try this out when you get a chance and share your comments and variations.

Ingredients
Orzo - 1 1/2 cup
Onion chopped - 1/2
Garlic cloves chopped - 3
Green chillis chopped - 3
Tomato chopped - 1
Red chili flakes - 1 tsp
Black pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
Lemon juice - 1 tsp
Veg bouillon/Maggie cube- 1
Salt to taste
Vegetable Oil - 2 tbsp
Parmesan Reggiano - to garnish
Coriander leaves - to garnish

Preparation
- Cook the orzo according to package instructions and drain them completley. immediatley after draining add oil and mix well. Keep it aside.
- Heat Oil in pan. Add red chili flakes and saute for few seconds. Add onion, garlic, green chili and saute till translucent.
- Add Bouillon, lemon juice, salt, pepper powder and tomatoes and cook till the tomatoes become soft.
- Add cooked orzo and toss till everything is combined
- Orzo is now ready. garnish it with coriander leaves, Parmesan . Serve hot and enjoy.
