VALENTINES DAY COOKIES

This is the month of valentine and I have already posted my Valentine chocolate recipe. Today I am going to share simple recipe on cookies. Do try this at home, surprise your valentine.. Enjoy this month, Feel the LOVE!!. If you want to decorate the cookies refer royal cookie icing

Preparation time : 1 hour 30 minutes
Serves : 20 cookies

Ingredients
Butter - 6 tbsp
White sugar - 1/2 cup
Egg - 1
Vannila extract - 1/2 tsp
Almond extract - 1/4 tsp
All purpose flour/maida - 1 1/4 cup
Baking powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt - 1/4 tsp

Preparation

• In large bowl add butter and sugar and beat till cream is formed. Beat in egg, vannila extarct and almond extarct.
• Add all purpose flour, baking powder and salt and stir till everything is well combined.
• Cover this dough and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
• Preheat the oven for 400 degree F.
• Dust the working surface. roll out the dough to 1/4 to 12 inch thick.
• In bowl add the all purpose flour.dip the desired cookie cutter to this and then cut the dough using this.
• Place these cookies on the cookie sheet 1 inch apart. do not grease the cookie sheet.
• Bake 6 to 8 minutes and allow it to cool completely. and then you can ice the cookies if desired.
• Valentines day cookies are now ready. Enjoy and feel the LOVE..
